Bottle picked up at Lidl’s. It pours pretty much black with a decent light tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, roasted malt, chocolate cake, coffee grounds, mocha and dried fruits. The taste is dry, earthy roast, toasty, wood, pencil shavings, chewy action, leather, cocoa, fruit cake and a touch of spice with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Taste doesn’t quite live up to the aroma. Pretty OK.

Slightly hazy amber beer, very thin white head. Light aroma of malt and fruit. Flavour is bitter malt, light citrus, a dash of caramel and it's got quite a refreshing taste to it. It's nothing special and there's not a lot to it but it's decent enough.

Pours with very little head but I'm not sure if I just got a duff bottle or if that's how it always looks. Clear amber with a rich, malty aroma. Citrus flavour, tropical fruit. Some spices, a touch of pine and then something earthy and unpleasant, perhaps from the malt, that I'm really not keen on at all. Sadly that plays a big part in the aftertaste. I'm not sure if I got a duffer but this really wasn't very good.
