Keg at St Andrews, Dundee. Pours nearly still black with a thin tan head. Aromas of light smoke, leather, roast, prune. Taste is more of the same. Needs to warm up a bit, but better when it does.

Bottle from Cork & Cask (2016) and can from Greens, Crail (2025). Hazy pale golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw, peach, sweet mango and strawberry. Flavour of orange, pine and underripe pineapple. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. Fruity and hoppy. It’s nine years since I first tried this and it is much improved.
