Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Pours inky black with some beige bubbles on top, and aroma of dark malts, smokey, blackcurrants hints. Taste is sourish, malty, fruity, blackcurrant note, ashy, roasty, cocoa, some tartness and light bitterness. Slick mouthfeel, medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, drying roasty malty finish. Quite OK

Keg at the Grandtully Hotel, Grandtully. Nice hopped aroma with a fair amount of cheese in there. Standard look with decent carbonation. Mature bitterness with some boozy off notes. Overall a gluggable ipa. (1/10/2021) Keg at the Russel Hotel, St Andrews. A few days later and a few points worse. No doubt, and ironicall, it was fresher up in Grandtully. 3.8 to 3.6

Panda at home, thanks to the SHIG, 10/07/21. Clear pale golden blonde with a decent white covering. Nose is orange zest, grass, melon, light pine nip, tangerine. Taste comprises pale malts, light breads, melon, orange peel, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with modest hop bitterness. Passable for the style if lacking in hop presence compared to most contemporaries.
