Bottle from Aldi. It pours murky reddiah - brown with a tiny white head. The aroma is earthy, woody, black tea, jammy, bramble, warming spice, clove and cake. The taste is bitter - sweet, bramble, touch of tartness, dried fruits, fruit cake, spice, clove, black tea and wood with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit muddled overall and she ain’t a looker. Fair.

330ml bottle: BBD 24th May 18, drank in a friends house on 8th July 17. Red hue to the copper/amber, slightly hazy body: wispy off-white head. More malty than hoppy in both the nose and taste, some orchard fruits in both the aroma and flavour, but a bit sweet and forgettable.
