Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Very lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of white pepper, apricot and pale malt. Flavour of rhubarb, grass and green tea. Thin body with a spritzy mouthfeel. Fizzy. I expected to detect the rhubarb much more.

Bottle. Appearance - opaque black with a reasonable head. Nose - dried fruit cake. Chocolate, but it’s not very strong. Nuts like almonds - Dundee Cake? Taste - milk chocolate, a bit like Flake. Light dried fruit in the back. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and quite a balanced beer overall. Overall - good, even if I don’t completely get the plums.

Bottle. Appearance - opaque black with a nice fluffy head. Nose - definitely blackberries going on. Just get enough dark bitter chocolate too. Taste - dark creamy chocolate with a dried fruit thing going on in the background. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a decent finish. Overall - yeah, a good stout.

Bottle. Appearance - hazy, deep amber with a decent fluffy head. Nose - resin and red fruits, cake mixture. Green hops rather than fruity hops. Taste - more cake and oranges. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that I expected to be more bitter. Overall - doesn’t work particularly for me. Needs more bittering and perhaps a bit more late hopping for taste.

Bottle. Appearance - a lovely orange with an autumnal edge and a nice fluffy head. Nose - wild yeast, yoghurt, warm milk. Taste - not much in the way blackberries, more like red or orange fruit and a bit wild yeast again. Biscuits too. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a dry yeasty finish. Overall - not one of their best. Smells and tastes like a bitter with an unwelcome yeast in there.
