Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Dry palate with a fine crispness. Dry pale malts, not much sweetness here. Tangy orange with mild bitterness. Dry finish. Strangely drinkable!

Bottle at Maison du Scopey. It pours hazy pale orange with a small white head. The nose spicy, doughy, orange rind, waxy, grainy, cereal, cracker and creamy almost. The taste is crisp, lightly bitter, pretty spicy, clove, orange rind, biscuit, floral, mild sweetness, touch of soap and pine with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Actually quite a bit going on in this one, but I am not 100% sold on the balance. Not too bad though.

Hazy golds beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Unpleasant soapy spicy nose. Palate is light and semi dry with decent fine carbonation. Unfortunately the taste follows the nose adding grain. Dry finish. Almost undrinkable. Bleh!

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - light red fruits. Almost going into oranges. Taste - strawberry jam and biscuits. Jammy dodgers. A bit tart too. Palate - medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - interesting beer even if it doesn’t blow you away.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Appearance - opaque black with a nice fawn head. Nose - mountain herbs or pine, basically a bit medicinal. Oh, it’s eucalyptus. Some cake mixture. Taste - burnt chocolate malt. Toffee, again burnt. Palate - medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a fairly balanced finish. Overall - everything has been burnt. Good though.
