Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry. Airy dry pale malts, not that sweet. Floral bitter hops. Whisper of citrus, barely there. Airy dry finish. Really not the best showcase of these three hops. But it’s clean.

Tasting at Leighton’s Flat. Thanks to BenH and to Leighton for hauling back. Clear reddish amber beer, tiny pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry with mild fine carbonation. Mild dark malts but there is a whisper of roast. Pretty modest piney hops. Little dried fruits. Light semi dry finish. Modest bitter linger. A fairly laid back cda.

Bottle shared at the Kernel - thanks to Ben. Pours unclear golden-brown with a creamy off-white head. The nose has bready malts, hints of pine, spices. Medium sweet flavor with lightly toasted bread, soft cinnamon, dough, floral hops, some grain husk. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with further bready malts, toast, earth, leaves, mild pine resins. Quite tasty, and novel.

Bottle from Cornelius. Dark brown body with a medium beige head that slowly fades. Light lacing. Aroma of green pepper, toast and spices. Flavour of Dr Pepper, chocolate, caramel and warming spices. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. Unusual but very drinkable for the strength.
