Can. It pours a lightly hazy, golden body and a dense, finger-thick white head. The aroma is sweetish and fruity, peaches and pine cones spring to mind. Drier on the palate than expected, luckily, but there’s some sweetness going on. Nice bitterness too, and both pine cones and tropical fruits in the flavor. Medium body, with pleasant carbonation. Mostly bitter finish, with the tropical fruits chiming in. Dry. A decent beer indeed, and definitely worth the price at less than two dollars. 130805

Got in a trade with TopsecretWaffle. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/22/2013. Pours lightly hazy golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big lemon zest, orange zest, orange rind, peach, pineapple, tangerine, floral, grass, light honey, and floral earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity of citrus/tropical hops with moderate malt; and good strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange zest, orange rind, tangerine, pineapple, floral, grass, light pine, light honey, bread, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus zest, citrus rind, pineapple, floral, grass, light honey, and floral earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice balance and complexity of citrus/tropical hops; with a fair amount of malt balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a lightly creamy, smooth, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a small warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice IPA. Good all around balance and complexity of hop flavors with light-moderate malt; and very smooth to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.

Draft - Grapefruit, pine and sweet malts. Clear gold with a rich head. Those great candy floss hops, with a punch of bitterness and a nice sweetness to balance. A very nice DIPA.

Draft - Heavy grapefruit on the nose. Clear gold with a rich head. Big up front grapefruit bitterness, followed by a dry resin. The huge bitterness lingers and is pleasant but unbalanced.nuts,

Canned July 1st, 2013. Pours with a crystal clear straw yellow hued body with a large white head. Nice hue for an IPA (read: not orange to amber). Aromas are of citrus, resin, light pine, mildly spicy, dank, tangelo, low c15 to carapils type malt. Some grassy qualities. Clean fermentation. Flavors are medium bitter, light malt, lots of tropical fruit, citrus and tangerine. Tastes a bit like a Drake’s IPA. Some grassy to resiny dry hop finish. Fruity hop profile, clean ester wise. Dry, low malt. Medium lively carbonation, lower body. Solid IPA from Golden Road, I could drink a few of these!

16oz can, no glass used and no visuals for beer other than "can." The aroma offers up grapefruit and tangerine mixed with some pine hops. The taste has lots of bitter resiny hops that are grapefruit, orange peel and pine sap. I like it. It’s a bit rough around the edges with resiny bitterness but today that’s working great for me.

16oz can, no glass used and no visuals for beer other than "can." The aroma has resiny pine hops and a bit of mildly roasted malts. The taste delivers a good deal of pine hops that lean heavily toward resiny bitterness. Behind the pine hops I get slivers of grapefruit citrus hops as well as a light malt roastiness. This has a pretty nice load of hops and flavor for a 5% beer but it is a bit un-refined as the malts and the hops don’t go all that well together. But if your need is hops then this will work.

On tap at City Beer. Large amounts of citrus, dank and earth. Pours a clear yellow-orange with full white head that remains all the way down the glass. Very bitter with orange and sweet malt backbone. Medium-thin mouthfeel with semi-dry finish.
