Tasting at Bruce’s. Thanks to Bruce for this can. Lightly hazy amber beer, small pale cream coloured head. Smooth palate with light fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malt base, little cream. Nice hope - fresh tasting pine with a little fresh orange. Little citric peel bitterness. Finishes smooth and semi dry. Nice smooth light IPA.

Can shared in London - big thanks to Bruce. Pours clear, amber-gold with a frothy white head. Lots of juicy citrus on the nose, ripe orange, melon. Medium sweet flavor with mellow bread, slight honeysuckle, toasted sugars, mango, pine, orange. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Mild bitterness to finish, some sticky pine, lightly toasted bread, melon, mango. Very nice.

Can thanks to Bruce. It pours hazy amber with a small beige head . The nose is pine, varnish, grapefruit, pomello, earth and toast. The taste is bitter-sweet, pine, varnish, resin, light spice, caramel, dried fruits, light alcohol and toast with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Decent balance and pretty drinkable stuff.

Purchased at a Vonn’s in Los Angeles, CA; enjoyed after walking around Culver City. Meh, not very good, their Weiss is better.

Purchased at Wally’s in Los Angeles, CA; enjoyed after a nice day of hiking the Santa Monica mountains. Appearance is a very cloudy gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of light banana, clove, and sweetness. Taste goes down refreshing, decent Weiss, nothing outstanding but solid.

Can. Golden amber with a large white head. Aroma of grapefruit, tinned mandarins and peaches, pineapple, pine. Creamy, medium bodied. Sweet with some caramel and more convincing fruit than suggested by a sniff. Some tropical, lots of peach and citrus. Bitterness is firm and a little spicy. Liked the balance.

On tap at Mikkeller San Francisco, pours a clear golden orange with a medium beige / tan head. Aroma is quite fruity, with resinous hops, some tropical fruits, and fruity caramel malt. Flavour is rather dry and woody, bringing out wet wood, some cardboard, piney hops, and dry woody malts. Unusually woody for a IIPA, but the flavours mesh well enough, leaving no residual sugars. Competent IIPA, just nothing special.

Can. I am pretty sure that I have this somewhere in my backlog, but I got a can recently so I might as well live rate it. Pours with a deeper golden, almost orange hued body with a large, foamy, just off-white head. Aromas are of citrusy, floral, pine, bugspray, lemony with a light malt character. Flavors are of alcohol (strong), medium citrus, pine, resin, pinesol, lemon. Dry finish. Quite warming for 9%, medium bodied, fuller carbonation.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent golden amber with a slight beige head. Aroma of citrus and lightly roasted malt. Full bodied. Flavor is very citrus, rather dank, but a bit "mucky". Some hop burn, very light caramel background. There clearly was not stinting on ingredients, but I think the hop choice doesn’t work as well for me as some DIPAs. On the other hand there’s a lot of flavor, and it continues well into the future!
