Can from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent golden amber with a slight beige head. Aroma of citrus and lightly roasted malt. Full bodied. Flavor is very citrus, rather dank, but a bit "mucky". Some hop burn, very light caramel background. There clearly was not stinting on ingredients, but I think the hop choice doesn’t work as well for me as some DIPAs. On the other hand there’s a lot of flavor, and it continues well into the future!

16oz can pours a clear, dark gold with some creamy, white head. Nose is grassy, lemon, pine, soap, orange. Flavor is zesty, piney, orange, soap, some sweetness, honey. Zesty, sticky finish.

Can from Bine & Vine. Aroma of floral hop, but it’s a bit strange. Med body. Flavor is floral, and then there’s clearly smoke. More smoke than seems reasonable? The malt is supportive, but I’m thinking Brewdog Paradox here. Or maybe that German brewery that only does smoked. Well, I’m getting used to it, it’s pretty tasty after all, and I think it will go well with my personally prepared mustard chicken (on the barby). Still, it took a different sort of mind to come up with this. Good result tho.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours dark gold with a slight white head. Aroma seems light stone fruit. Very juicy. Med body. Nice caramel and stone fruit juicy hop. Mild hop burn - getting stronger. There’s firm flavor, lots of hop, and it’s finishing very bitter. Nothing to not like here. After awhile I’m thinking citrus. No reason to change the rating just cause the ale changes with time. Good stuff.

16oz can pours, wait, what? Smoked IPA? Interesting. It pours with a clear copper body that has pervasive golden hues and supports a thin near white head. The modest aroma offers up some citrus hops, sweet malts and if I didn’t know any better I’d say no smokiness but there is a faint rauch malt thing going on well off in the background. The taste has pleasing malt sweetened citrus hoppiness flowing into an intriguing mix of resiny pine hops, spicy wood and a light peaty smokiness around the edges. Nice. The smoke and peat like sensation build some into the finish. If you’re gonna do a smoked IPA this seems to attain a nice balance where a nice IPA hoppiness is up front and a subtle smokiness and wood is in the back. I dig it. I like the citrus hop flavor, resiny pine to spicy wood notes and mild smokiness. Well done.

Crisp, very hazy straw golden coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall just off-white head with some good movement, although very tough to see because of the unfiltered quality - amazing looking IPA. Aroma of tons of pineapple, grapefruit, passionfruit, floral and very resinous, high aa hops - great nose. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong floral and resinous hop flavour with tons of pineapple/grapefruit notes, some sharp bitterness and some very deep alcohol notes, but a well-balanced beer with the malt showing through at the end to try to compete with the hops. Aftertaste shows a good hop bitterness, some sweet notes from the fruit, but the alcohol warmth and pungent pine and floral notes don’t have enough malt behind them. Overall, a great looking and smelling beer, but the taste was somewhat of a letdown. That said, this is still a great beer that should be sampled if you can find it - plus an great IPA in a can - awesome! I sampled this sixteen ounce can purchased from Bottle Craft in San Diego, California on 06-June-2013 for US$3.15 sampled at home in Washington on 30-August-2013.

Cans on multiple occasions. Pours with a clear golden yellow with a retentive white head. Smooth, grainy and bready aromas, clean yeast, light sulfur, low hops. Flavors are bready, grainy and dry. Malt forward with medium-low sweetness. Very clean, low mineral. Medium dry finish, fuller carbonation, very sessionable.
