On tap at the brewpub without syrup. Pours with a turbid pale yellow hue with some lace left by the fading white head. Aromas are grainy, light lacto, clean, low esters, light lemon, yogurt, wheat and a touch of vanilla. Flavors are extremely tart, lemony, lactic acid, cleanly tart. Some apple jolly ranchers, dry with low grainy character. Dry, medium high carbonation. Quite tart and tasty! Please run this through the canning line this summer!

Acquired in a trade. Canned March 12th, 2012. Put it right in the fridge and poured into a Hill Farmstead Glass
A - SRM of 8. Golden orange appearance, some cloudiness on the pour that looked pretty resinous. Slightly off-white head of 2 fingers that subsided slowly leaving behind a super sticky lacing on every corner of the glass.
S - Gigantic citrus notes. A hint of resin and a minor bit of pine but very little.Nice big hop characteristics followed by some herbs.
T - Spicy Vanilla is what I get first. Peppered Vanilla? Not too sure. Backbone of pine, grass and tangerines. Lemon zest and some basil.
M - Medium body, 80% carbonation on the mouth swish. Lingering orange peel taste
O - Delicious. It’s a solid IPA with extra points for being canned. Would be a great fishing companion.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours light golden amber with a transient fizzy white head. Aromas of warm caramel and floral/citrus (or maybe floral/resin). About med body. Moderate carb. Flavor is a little papery, a little peppery, a little malty, and floral, maybe with citrus. It’s certainly bitter, but it reminds a bit of the old Beeman’s gum. Spicy/peppery. Finishes with bitter and flavor, but somehow it lacks substance. I putting this down as a great session beer, assuming the session doesn’t last too long.

Can @ home. Clear, dark orange appearance with a big, off white head. A little spicy, toasted citrus fruity, floral hoppy, toasty malty aroma. Toasty, somewhat bready malty, earthy, spicy hoppy flavor. Pretty good but I probably should have drank this fresher.

On tap at Blue Palm’s Grand Reopening. Pours with a hazed brown hued body with a tan head that fades. Aromas are of barrel, brown sugar, tannin, marzipan, tons of oak, vanillin and barrel. Light nutty and earthy character with some toffee notes. Mostly clean yeast wise on the aroma. Flavors are of brown sugar, light tannin, lighter bourbon character than the aroma, mild esters, maple. Somewhat fresh oak like in its tannin contribution. Mouthfeel is a bit thin with medium carbonation.
