Can to becher glass.
Appearance: copper to amber color with a one finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dried pomme-like fruits, herbal, floral and earthy character, some freshly cut grass, bready and light honey
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet malty quality with herbal and earthy additions; finishes semi-tea-like with some floral and earthy sweetness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness and light dryness
Overall: nice easy going pale ale I would return to.

Can to weizen glass.
Appearance: somewhat copper in color with a semi-cloudiness and a three finger white foamy head which took it's time to dissipate. Once it did, light messy lace stuck to the glass.
Aroma: bubblegum sweetness, light notes of clove, banana, breadiness, slight sweet wheat
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to light sweet to lightly spicy quality; finishes sweet yet somewhat herbal and earthy
Texture: medium to full bodied, good level of carb, light tart but none of the "weizen-ish" kick/bite I was hoping for, some smoothness
Overall: the coloring seemed a bit off (maybe a little darker with a slight air of transparency closer to the sides of the glass) and I never got the wheat/tart-like kick or bite. Maybe again for me but true hefeweizen fans just be aware.

Like a märzen in festbier’s clothing. On the sweet side, with a surprising dark maltiness for the color. Stays sweet throughout, with a hint of floral bitterness and cracker on the back end. Eh.

Murky yellow, white head. Piney nose, citrus too. Soap. Old school. Flavor has some pineapple but otherwise a fairly old school beer. Bitter, zippy. Felt danker as time went on. 8 7 7 7 7

Had a can that was less than 5 days old. Pineapple juice color, white head. Mild nose, mango and pineapple. Light orange. Some flowers. Flavor is better, fruitier with the tropicals and some breakfast cereal, orange curd. Does drink a bit sweet, full bodied. Solid.

On tap at River Road tavern
Pours a dark brown with ruby at the edges and a small tan head that slowly dissipates.
Bready toasty with hints of chocolate and earthy hops to counter. Pretty good.

Perfectly acceptable golden ale, basic but drinkable, crisp notes of cracker malt and a touch of grainy sweetness followed by a gentle hoppy finish. Decent pint.

Decent brown, with notes of toasted bread, caramel, and cocoa and a mild nuttiness underneath. Touch of berry-like acidity and a modest bitterness on the finish.

Could use some fine-tuning. Notes of bitter chocolate and espresso roast are met with a sharp cascara acidity, leading to a not-altogether pleasant metallic undertone. Finishes dry with a lingering java bitterness. Eh.

Lots of stone fruit and tropical notes, some berry, and a very yeasty tartness mixed with some pine and a touch of cardboard. Juicy, but not overly complex. Eh.
