Rich and full, some earthy bitterness, toasted malts, toffee, stewed berries, booze. Thick, lightly chewy. Warming finish, a nip of damp old carpet, earth, more aged dark fruits. Not bad.

A little grainy, some odd citrusy notes. Not very sweet, faintly bitter. Very so so.

Keg at CBJ. Hazy orange gold beer, no real head. Light palate, fairly smooth, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Nice mildly tart fruits, very mild tartness. Nice bright mango and papaya, a little lemony citrus. Light cooling pine on the semi dry finish. Bright and breezy.

Keg at CBJ. A mild haze on this orange amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Mellow fruits, not that sour. Tiny bit of earthy coffee. Light dry finish. A bit non descript really.

Keg at Craft Beer Junction, 24/09/2025.
Chestnut brown to amber topped with a light beige cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is dark fruit esters, light smoke, burnt toffee, dark malts.
Taste comprises stewed fruits, caramel, dates, light spice.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Tidy for the style.

Clear, chestnut/brown pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is mainly roasted malt, tiny hints of cocoa and sweet citrus. Taste is roasted/burnt at first, then bread, some citrus and cocoa. OK overall

[33cl can from Beer52.] A cola brown coloured pour with a billowing, everlasting beige head; sweet malty aroma; sweet malty taste with some nutty and earthy notes; then an earthy bitterness. More like a Brown Ale than a Dark Lager in my opinion.
