330ml bottle. Minimally milky, amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Rather weak, mellow, floral-fruity, honey-like aroma, hints of caramel, unspeciifc fruitiness. Taste is minimally sweet and minimally dry woody, floral fruity, hints of diluted honey, leafy overtones, unspecific fruitiness. Decent.

Tap at Beer Stars 2/2020. I do not get much fruitiness. Actually almost none. Rather malty, moderate body, moderate carbonation. Caramelly toasted maltiness. Not much else going on. Feels a bit empty. Easy drinking, but somewhat boring in this context.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierothek', best before December 2023. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with a thin, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty, moderately fruity-floral aroma of honey, dried apricot and a touch of vanilla. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, a little sourish, gently malty, a bit fruity-floral taste of honey, dried apricot, sultanas and some vanilla, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little tart and a bit herbal finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent and a bit fizzy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite interesting but somehow those 'Waldbiere' impress me less and less.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierothek', best before 2024. A little hazy, orangeish amber with a thin, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity and minimally herbal aroma of caramel, honey, some almond and a touch of apricot. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently fruity and minimally herbal taste of caramel, honey, some almond and a touch of apricot, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little woody-dry and minimally herbal finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. A rather inoffensive brew, I probably don't really get the influence of the wild service tree.
