Sampled from 0.5 l bottle at RBBSG 2016 in Evergem. Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, malty and a bit grassy aroma of sweet malts, grains and straw. Sweetish-malty, slightly grassy taste of sweet malts, grains and straw, followed by a short, just slightly bitter, a little grassy and slightly metallic finish. Thin body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very bland...

Black colored, quite strong and lasting tan head. Aroma is of caramel, metal, some cocoa powder. Taste is low caramel sweet, molasses, metallic again, cocoa and artificial cocoa powder, quite strong cocoa/roasted bitter finish. Medium+ bodied and too heavy on the carbonation. But since they say on the bottle that sugar, caramel and natural flavoring is added it’s mostly what you expect. Not really a competition for Kenya made Guinness but better than the Guinness they tried making in Rwanda a few years ago. (bottle, at the Bralirwa Brewery)
