Not as good ad some of the Honduran beers, and not as bad as some of the others. About average in badness. Cheaper than the Honduran beers even in Honduras, so there’s that going for it. Can in Utila in some stage of drunkenness.

Aroma of weak lemon and soft cardboard. Appearance is an okay head with a boring yellow. Flavour is weak hops with a slight malt hint. Weak on the mouth. It’s yet another boring lager.

Can. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of citrus, hops, and cheap malt. Sourish, citric flavour, with sparse hoppy and estery notes. Bitter, mildly paperlike finish. Perhaps refreshing on a Guatemalan beach, but I am not there right now.

Can, 4.6%. Bready and metallic aroma. Clear golden colour. Sparkling. Big stable plasticky white head. The flavour is slightly bready with an OK refreshing vinous touch. A little watery, but tastes all right.

Golden color, small white head. Sticky brewing cereals aroma, light fruityness and papery notes. Sweet malty lager with a bit fuller palate than in the many other Central American lagers. Finish is quite papery. Very industrial feeling.

Can... sampled in Managua. Pours a slightly darkish gold with a one finger head. Aromas are corny grains with something a little reminiscent of sour mash. Flavor is like a normal beer with some rather foul sugary sweet notes. Blech.

Bottle tried in Managua. Pour is a light golden color with a pretty good start to a head on top, but it dies down really quickly. Lots of effervescence. Aromas are sweet and has apple juice and corn notes. Flavor would do good to be even that complex. Very watery. Uninteresting and unispiring.
