500 ml bottle into tulip glass, 2018 vintage bottling. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/light copper color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Great thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, green apple, pineapple, grapefruit, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, white wine, pepper, oak, hay, straw, floral, grass, caramel, and toasted bread; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, leathery/musty funk, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, citrus/tropical hops, oak barrel, and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, green apple, pineapple, grapefruit, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, white wine, pepper, oak, hay, straw, floral, grass, caramel, and toasted bread; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, leathery/musty funk, and yeast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tartness, yeast/oak tannin spiciness, and herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, green apple, pineapple, grapefruit, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, white wine, pepper, oak, hay, straw, floral, grass, caramel, toasted bread, oaken vanilla, leathery/musty funk, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, citrus/tropical hops, oak barrel, and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/tartness and bitter/spiciness balance; with zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tart/bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/acidic/sticky/tannic, and lightly silky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an awesome barrel-aged dry hopped sour ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, citrus/tropical hops, oak barrel, and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly acidic/tannic/drying finish, never overly lactic. Really awesome Brett complexity with balanced citrus/tropical hops; great oak barrel presence and malt backbone. A really enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example.

Draft at the brewpub. Clear amber body, thin tight creamy buff head. Dry body, nutty and toasty with notes of toffee, clove, and bready yeast. Plain.

Pours a nice black from a can, thick light tan head. Aroma is rich on the bourbon vanilla and oak, similar flavor, just a really good BBA beer.

Hazy amber color. Modest sour nose with tons of pumpkin spice. Modestly sour, light body, tons of cinammon, pumpkin but not sure if that works. Odd, ok, but doesn’t work too much

Thanks Gregg for sharing the can! Poured into a taster showing well filtered amber brown with sparse white foam. The nose shows pronounced notes of baking spices and light pumpkin. The palate is light bodied and well carbonated. Lightly tart with light flavours of pumpkin and baking spice.

Pours crystal clear ruby reddish/orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big juicy blood oranges, sour/tart/tangy cranberries, strawberry, lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, green apple, citrus peel, red/white wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, and cracker; with light notes of pepper, funk, red wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, blood orange, cranberry, oak, and pale malt notes; with great strength. Flavors of big juicy blood oranges, sour/tart/tangy cranberries, strawberry, lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, green apple, citrus peel, red/white wine, oak, wheat, and cracker; with light notes of pepper, funk, red wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light yeast/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tart/sourness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/acidic/tangy, and lightly tannic balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol for 6.7%. Overall this is an excellent fruited sour/wild ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, blood orange, cranberry, oak, and pale malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink, with the modestly sour/tart/tangy/drying finish. The huge intensity of the fruit character covers up some of the funk and oak notes; but this still has great balance of all flavors, and not overly lactic. Great well rounded fruity Brett complexity with the fruit; with a balancing malt backbone. A very enjoyable offering.

50cl pours a clear gold with some ringing white head. Nose has peach, paint and poop. Some yeast and pear too. Flavor has honey, nectarine, peach, grape, lemon, perfume. Finishes medium bodied, lightly tart.
