Keg at Hops & Glory. It pours hazy pale gold with a decent white head. The nose is earthy, farmyard, manure, dirt, orange peel and candy. The taste is crisp, pepper, lemon peel, mild icing sugar, cracker, white bread, spice, hay and barnyard with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. A respectable saison.

Keg at Hops and Glory, 22/05/15. Hazed golden orange topped with a moderate off White swirl. Nose is citric rind, bubblegum, light floral notes, straw, touch of spice. Taste comprises light yeast esters, straw, subtle honeycomb, lemon rind, light funk. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with crisp feel. Decent enough saison, ticks the boxes, not OTT on the honey front.

Keg@The Hops & Glory
Cloudy yellow color, tiny white head. Wet socks, grainy and fruity aroma. Wee. Medium-bodied. Sweetish, fruity kind of saisony without too much pepperness. Apricot and banana. Rye? No trace.

Keg at the hops and glory. £4 a half. Murky golden / orange coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma is Belgian wit yeast, orange rind, hint of peppercorn. Flavour is flabby wheat grains, floral orange, tangy citrus, doughy grains. Hint of salt. Medium sweet doughy bread. Palate is flabby grains, highish carbonation, semi sweet. Really not that great, certainly not worth the price tag, I’ll be reluctant to venture back here.

Tap at brewpub. Slightly hazy yellow color, small white head. Lemony, citrusy aroma. Light-bodied. Crisp. Citrusy, wheaty flavor. Light Saison tartness. Very nice refreshing summer drink. Even lighter than its abv indicates. Good.

Keg at the Hops and Glory - London. Pours cloudy yellow-gold with a white cream top. The nose holds strong doughy wheat bread, yeast, mild grains and sweat. Medium sweet flavor with some green herbs, white sugar, gooey dough, yeast, bread, alcohol. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more sugary dough and wheat bread, nips of green pepper, some white candi sugar. Not bad, just a bit flabby.

Keg at the Hops and Glory - London. Pours clear yellow, effervescent, with a creamy white head. The aroma holds flaked wheat, straw, lemon zest, faint yeast. Medium sweet flavor with some sugary white bread, wheat, faint hitter straw, lemon, sourdough, hay. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes somewhat sweet, somewhat refreshing, with some crackers, pale bread, crunchy straw, understated saison yeast, mellow pine needles. Nicely drying, pretty well balanced.
