Cask@GBBF2012. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, some leathery notes as well as mild toffee. Flavour is liquorice, chocolate, nuts, some mild metallic/bloodlike notes as well as old coffee. Rather big bitterness too.

Bottle 22fl.oz.Clear medium amber orange colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, barnyard - baking yeast. Initial flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate acidic, middle flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet, light moderate acidic and bitter, finish flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, baking yeast, initial and finish has some fruit swettnes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20120616]

Can. A clear-looking, dark brown beer topped by a dense, light beige head. Heavy doses of dark coffee on the nose, maybe a bit one dimensional, but it’s very pleasant. Some roasted malts and resin too. Bitterness, coffee, more coffee and even more coffee in the flavor. I don’t like coffee the regular way, this way it’s fine. Pleasant bitterness in the end, and lots of coffee of course. Might be a bit one dimensional, but really pleasant anyway. 120817

Can @ FOneFan, Pre-Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2012. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts and strong coffee. Flavour is roasted malts, strong coffee, chocolate medium sweet, hop and a medium bitter.

Can @ fonefan tasting. Nice creamy head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich coffee, then more coffee and lastly coffee again. Also some caramel, roast malt and hops. Nice and smooth.

Can from McGaughs Smoke & Bottle, Flagstaff. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich bitter hops, caramel, pine, citrus and malt. Long bitter finish.
