12 oz can at Bogeys in Leawood, Kansas. Was happy to see this beer here, generally they have squat for selection. The pour is a murky brown, with a 1/2 inch light tan head. The aroma is roast coffee, additional char roast malt, and a light cane sugar sweetness behind the roast. The taste is primarily the coffee roast, along with a bit of the sugar sweetness of the nose. Some caramel. Think iced coffee with cream. The coffee flavor is a bit stale. The palate is medium bodied, with above average bright carbonation. There is some mineral, though it shows a bit metallic. The coffee flavors are very lingering. Decent.

Bottle at the source courtesy of staff, thanks! This one is very sweet and malty, but with a slightly smokey edge. Not bad.
