Tasting at Papsø’s
Hazy golden color, with no head. The sour aroma is initially nice, with barnyard character, although it’s followed by less noble rubber and plastic. The mouthfeel is a bit oily, also because of the missing carbonation; good flavor, with balanced elements, cellar, Bretts, malt; probably even a light residual sweetness, and lemony character; the acidity is correct; never aggressive.
Very good overall.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of bu11zeye. Pours an almost clear golden with hardly any head. Very tart aroma, sort of Berliner Weisse lactic. Medium body, completely flat, both lactic and acetic. Very dry with a growing astringency. Tartness grows throughout also. A different Sour, but suffers from the lack of carbonation. 160612

A reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a nice vinous caramel malt with soy, iodine, licorice and dark fruits. In mouth, a nice sweet vinous malt with light aniseed, mandarine pulp, grassy, piney hops, well melding with sweet toffee malt, warming alcohol, lingering and smooth. Tasted with GRM on June 1 2012.

Can @ home. Clear, dark reddish brown appearance with a light brown head and good lacing. Toasty, a touch burnt, caramel malty, somewhat nutty, cherrry fruity aroma. Hazelnutty, a touch woody, quite earthy, a bit herbal, caramel malty, light toffee, a bit husky flavor. Not bad.

Can at BTBF. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a large white head. Aromas are: DANK. Some citrus, weed, resin, all hops, light pine, yeast seems clean beneath the hops, no real malt character. Flavors show a bit of caramel malt, dank, citrus, weed. Seems very CTZ like. Lively bubbles, dry and pretty darn good.
