Half litre can from the Aldi in Cochem (on the Mosel in Germany), poured twice into a Bitburger dumpy stemmed glass, the rest was poured down the sink, not impressed at all. Looked OK, ruby red body, but no head after 5 seconds. It was just a malty sweet mess and I was so disappointed because the Helles I had before this (also from Aldi) was decent. Love Dark/Winter Bock beers normally, this one however wasn't very good.

Half litre can from the Aldi in Cochem (on the Mosel in Germany). Drank in our apartment on 6th November 2025. Poured into a 'Bitburger' dumpy stemmed glass three times, the only beer glass available to me! I thought this bright, clear and clean golden coloured beer was fine, the white head could have stayed around on each pour, but that's being pernickety. No real aroma, just like most Helles to be honest, decent blend flavour wise, light hop front with an easy going malt content giving a bit of sweetness. Liked it, good value Helles in my eyes.

A typical export/lager, nothing sexy but for the price that you get the can, it is ok, a bit metalic, dry, malty, some hop at the final, 28.03.19, buying it at one aldi and serving me this can at Epalinges.

330ml bottle from ID Stock, Hazebrouck. Pours a generally clear gold, white head. Bit ropey, angular bitterness, disjointed hop fruitiness.. kind of ok.

Deadication beer to anti-establishment figure Brutus who helped kill his Caesar, died on this day. Hazy watery pale-yellow colour and certainly a session texture and taste, with the latter having some dryish tropical notes. There's a light aroma in this respect. Easy but not high end 'craft'!
