Brown with faint ruby highlights, a small, quickly dissipating beige head. Pleasantly chocolatey aroma, with a touch of roastiness and chocolate yogurt. Full but not heavy body, almost flat with a touch of sweetness. The chocolate is balanced between milk and dark. Roasted, chocolate bitterness with herbal accents. Pleasantly drinkable.

440ml can. Poured a clear yellow golden colour, with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is yeasty. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, somewhat light, yeasty, herbal, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A poor lager.

Well it’s certainly not good. Some lightly tangy pale grains, vague citrus notes, cereal, a little rindy bitterness. Almost has an artificial edge to it. Not impressed, Aldi - not impressed at all!

A clean, copper-colored pour with a thinly lacing, grayish-white, short-lived head. Aroma is porridge, cookies, honey, and all things malty. Boozy, quite full bodied, but lacking balance. Boozy finish, full of esters. On the bad side.

Very odd stout, very sweet and very little malt body. Bit of a mess.

500ml bottle at Auntie Sue's house on 16th September 2025. Golden/amber body, clear and clean, on top a white crown. Bittering hops over a sloid malty sweetness. Cheap and cheerful, but lacks a bit of depth body wise.
