Bottle in Ashford from Sarah's mum. A clear amber orange coloured pour with a loose beige head that fades. Aroma is semi sweet, caramel, toffee, some rustic brown bread. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, layered malts, some toffee sweetness, rustic brown bread. Very simple and plain. Palate is semi sweet, light chalk, moderate carbonation. Passable.

0.33 l can from a local Kaufland in Zadar, wanted to shared with Brna and Brnja but they refused, what a shame. Flavour is toasty, dried fruit, dark fruit, blueberry. Smooth, light, gentle, sweet. Flavour is caramel, toffee, dried fruit. Some roasty bitterness, minimal hop character. Slightly bland finish, light body and minimal carbonation, but the balance is good overall.

Can 50 cl. Comes as "Schultenbräu Weizen Mix Weizen mit Grapefruit Alkoholfrei". Pours a cloudy, opaque orangey golden with a solid, white head. Good aroma of pink grapefruit. Light body, very soft on the palate, some sweet notes of pink grapefruit and very little of the base beer - which probably is for the better. 230725
