Keg at Le Petit Cafe, St Peter’s Port. It pours clear golden with a small fizzy white head. The nose is earthy, barnyard, crisp sweet apple, wood and light brett. The taste is crisp, clean, slightly tart, juicy apple, appletizer, light mouth-pucker, wood and earth with a refreshingly dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp and rather quaffable. Surprisingly good.

Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Thanks Papsø for sailing this rare "country" tick home! Clear, golden colour with an amber tint. Small, white bubbles on top. Tart aroma with apples, yeasts, wooden notes. Taste is sweet - sweeter than the aroma might suggest. Medium body with a creamy texture and a flat carbonation. Finishes dry with tart apples. A lovely cider.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a rough, white head. Clean, tart apple aroma. Medium body, lovely semi-dry clean apple notes with some sulphur and a nice tartness to it. Not one of the astringent British examples, but well made and easy going. 130914

Cask @ the Oak, St. Peter Port. A smooth beginning. Fresh, tart and slightly sour, nice apple aroma, fresh. Easy to drink with a nice tart appley aftertaste. Not too dry, still sweetish fruitiness left. Hints of wood and nice cider apples, tart and fruity in the aftertaste!

Cask @ Ship & Crown, St. Peter Port. Mild fresh start. Hints of tartness, fruity apples, fresh and easy to drink. The mainpart is smooth, fresh. Not too deep, but nice fresh tart apples on a quite dry background. The aftertaste is smooth appley, slightly tart, hints of wood and earth, medium long.
Nice cider, not too deep, but tart and fruity without being watery!

Bottle from Coop, Guernsey. Smooth and fruity beginning, not as intense as the XC-cider. Tart and slightly watery in the mainpart, very dry, appely-fruity, but not too deep. The aftertaste is smooth, tart-dry, but quite watery and easy to drink.
