75cl bottle from the producer. Pours a misty golden orange. Soft fruity medium sweet ripened apple fruit aroma. Nice natural blend, still, full fruity character, not too much tannin, soft ripened fruit, decent medium dry.

Monday, 1st April 2024; Monthly gathering in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Five guys with beers to share and stories to tell. Clear 75cl bottle. Red and raspberries, pink head and raspberries. Not as tart or raspberry flavoured as expected (pleased about that actually).

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April 24. Pours a vivid raspberry red, pinkish off-white head. Can see a big raspberry presence in the glass but to taste it's strangely not fruity at all.. expected a lot of raspberry to come through but it's replaced by a strange woody, earthy character. I'm sure there are other bottles that taste fantastic, but sadly this isn't one of them.

440ml can @ Daphne's, Presteigne. Pours black with a good collar of tan foam. Lovely welcoming aroma of milk chocolate, dark malt, soft roast. Creamy oatmeal mouthfeel, dark malt, lovely sweetness, milk chocolate. Really nicely presented oatmeal stout.

75cl bottle from Sobremesa, Talgarth. Shared with Soph on Valentine's Day 2024. Pours a hazed golden orange. Aroma of rustic orchard barrel. Lovely natural feel to taste, mellow apple fruit, hazed texture, bone dry with a mild dry tannic finish. Some orangey hints creeping into view. Good sipper overall.

750ml bottle from Hop Hideout, Sheffield. 2022 Vintage. Slightly hazed yellowy gold colour, white foam head that dissipates and aroma of apple, fruity, funk. Taste is tangy, tart, apple, fleshy, fruity, with woody funk, some sour acidity and alittle tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tart sourish finish. Nicely drinkable.

75cl bottle from the producer. Deep dark brownish orange appearance, rustic orchard aroma, mucky funk to taste, wet hay, apple pulp, woody barrel, fleeting whisky barrel hints.. bit of age to it but a nice farmhouse feel overall.

30/10/2023. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours slightly hazy dark orange gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is baked, sugary stewed apple, citric, slight funky edge. Medium sweetness and light tartness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Pretty good.
