16 oz. can purchased at Spruce Creek Provisions. Very deep brown in color. Thick foamy head. Aroma has mild roast dominating with a subtle amount of yeast. Flavor is similar. Subtle roasted malt throughout with hints of ashy smoke then a good amount of yeast in the finish.

The bitterness has a light lasting citrus. Texture gives me a chewy mouthfeel. Overall this was pretty good, subtle brew all the way through, which is what gives this beer its charm.

16 oz can. Aroma is lemon juice, light pale grain, lactic acid. The flavor is really heavy in the lactobacillus. Super tart with a harsh pucker in the tastebuds. Sharp. The body is light.

I really like this brewery but this sour just really isn’t my kind of thing. Hard for me to enjoy more than 4 oz.

16 oz can. Aroma is pretty nice. Chocolate, mild coffee, roasted grains. I put off sampling this for a long time because it is "just" a brown ale. Mistake by me because this is really nice.

The layers of malt is pretty deep. Mild coffee, roasted nuts, chocolate. Mouthfeel is fuller for the style and displays a dry roasted texture.
