The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, fresh, herbal, light toffee, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

47,5cl Blik van Beer Republic. Kern River staat niet genoemd op het blik. Mistig, gele kleur, witte kraag. Licht kunstmatig citrus, licht bloemig, hoppig, caramel, hars, hint van dennen, oldskool met een licht modern randje, degelijk bitter. Wellicht al een tikje te oud, maar nog altijd best smakelijk. Medium body.

Draft at Copenross. Clear golden pour, small cap of foamy white head. Standard hoppy aroma, hint of pale malts.Small hoppy burst opens the taste, and it gets more bitter from there.

16 oz can. Aroma has notes of tangerine, passionfruit, bread, pine, guava. Pours slightly hazy golden with a one finger bone-white head with great retention. Taste has a moderate pithy bitterness with flavors like the aroma and some wort. Doesn’t taste as good as it smells.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours translucent gold with a decent white head. Aroma is somewhat pungent citrus. Med body at least. Fairly dry and at least moderately bitter. Flavor is almost citrus pith with some green melon. Considering the ABV it is somewhat amazing.
