Draft sample @ Fiera della Birra, Cesena ’14. Orangée, col fin blanc-cassé. Arôme au bouquet très enivrant, biscuité, pain, et levure. Rétro mielleux fleuri très agréable ponctué par un houblonné noble fleuri et légèrement fruité. Palais est épais avec un petit côté épicé, fleuri et un rappel de laurier. Rondeur mielleuse en bouche, millefiori. Amertume légère reste en retrait ici aussi centrée vers le noble. Simple, mais superbement bien exécutée.

Draft sample @ Fiera della Birra, Cesena ’14. A new twist on style, Black APA? Ambrée, col léger blanc-cassé. Arôme est malté légèrement torréfié, note rétro citronné US assez moyen avec un bouquet restant superbe au niveau des houblons qui offrent une palette fruitée, agrumes rappelant le Cascade. Palais est malté, ici aussi, torréfié sur pointe de café et moka. Profil houblonné sympa plus vers l’américain, ici aussi Cascade. Bière simple, mais rondement bien faite.

Draft sample @ Fiera della Birra, Cesena ’14. Dorée trouble paille, col blanc. Arôme sur une pointe houblonnée, fruité avec une balance malté ici aussi assez intéressante et offrant un bouquet idéal. Palais est houblonné prenant sur un léger fruité amer, note citronnée rappelant un peu la bergamote. Malt reste ici aussi très surprenant comme déjà noté dans d’autres versions de cette brasserie. Petit note épicée arrive en fin de bouche. On reste malgré tout sur une version à interprétation personnelle, mais le résultat est plaisant.

Arôme sur une dominance de levure, qcq ester moyen et un houblonné restant plus en retrait sur le noble. Brille par sa levure, côté malté intéressant. Palais levure avec un léger sucré résiduel, garde également un côté légèrement orienté ester oscillant entre un style belge et allemand. Houblon noble fruité et fleuri..

Palais est malté surprenant pour une pils. Biscuité, qcq ester en rétro avec une note de banane. Houblonné noble de type Saaz, simple et efficace. Une belle surprise.

A hazed amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a sweet fruity malt with light off sulfur notes. In mouth, a grainy musty sweet malt with light unfermented character, grassy, a bit off. Bottle at Mondial 2012, June 9 2012.

Huge white, dense head over very clear golden beer. Grassy, pale malts nose, some dry hops, "herb". Bit sharpish maltflavour, but sharpness probably due to the CO²; pineappleester. Very carbonated, near fizzy MF, despite no visual indication. Overcarbonateion is responsible for the rather agressive impression of what is, after all, a rather simple, uncomplex beer, missing depth.

Bottle at Antonio and Lisa’s in Assisi. Pours ruddy amber with a beige head. Flavor is woody with cola notes. Really interesting plant flavor. Perhaps a metallic hint - or something phenolic. It’s great, but incredibly different.
