Can picked up at Home Bargains, Inverurie. It pours darkest brown with a small bubbly beige head. The is earthy roast, warming spice, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, cola cubes, umami, liquorice, vanilla and custard creams. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, heavy spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove rock, cola cubes, Dr Pepper, light vanilla, earthy roast, burnt toast, umami and some dried fruits. Finish is spicy and toasty. Lightish body and average carbonation. Actually it's ok. More drinkable than it sounds.

440ml can from Home Bargains: BB 18th September 2024. Drank at home on 20th October 2023. Black bodied, tanned top. Fairly sweet and 'spicy', it's interesting I suppose and cheap.

Can from Home Bargains Bridge of Don It pours lightly hazy golden - yellow with a small, dissipating white cap. The aroma is sweet, sponge cake, toffee, nuttiness, some roasty coffee vibes and candied orange. The taste is a bit odd... bitter - sweet, toasty, nutty, coffee cake, milky sweet coffee, creaminess, some sweet toffee/caramac/butterscotch vibes, touch of tannin/astringency and hob nob biscuits with a toasty finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. I am a fan of espresso martinis, but not sure this quite does it justice. A novel idea, but I doubt many would return back for a second go.
