[1/27/17] Bottle/Can/Crowler/Growler at a bottle share at Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa. Cloudy yellow. Fruity hops, oniony, dry, some unpleasant cucumber notes. Not really my thing. 7/3/6/3/12=3.1

Bottle shared at CBC Islington on Matteoβs farewell. Thanks to the man himself. Bottom of Vottle. Hazy gold with a creamy white head. Nice aroma, moderate peach, tangerine, melon, apricot, mild lactic. Light sweet flavour with mellow acidity, more peach, lemon, tangerine, light pale wood, soft bitterness, nips of grass. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Clean finish, zippy and refreshing, with more tart peach and lemon, light woody dryness. Great stuff.

Aroma is swet funky apricot, funk, pineapple, lovely brett, spicy lemon. Flavour is composed of tart tangy fruit, lemon and white peach, apricot. Palate is tart, straw, spritz carbonation. Lingering funky brett and tangy citrus.

Can shared by Benzai, canned 01 10 17, 15 cl sample. Hazy golden color, short frothy head. Aroma is very grassy, some citrus and a hint of cookie malt. Very bitter, almost over the top for me, clean and crisp. Citra didnt shine as tropical fruit, but was almost overdone and giving a very grassy character. Decent, but not superb.

Pours a thick, dark black, with minimal head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, burnt sugar. Flavor is very sweet and smooth, with chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, some vanilla. Good sweet stout by Tree House, though these all sort of blur together after awhile (maybe throw in some hot peppers or something sometime to change things up?).

Can [from trade with desp59, thanks!] shared with Caesar and Skortila. Hazy yellow color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is very citrussy, grassy, fresh. Taste light malts, hops, grassy, citrus, bitter. Hmm in between an IPA and an IIPA. A bit sharp on the citrus. Solid, not great.

50 cl can from trade with desp59, huge thanks! Shared with Caesar. Clear orange golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, hops, grassy hops. Taste malts, hops, grassy hops, light hop bitter. Lovely fresh IPA, canβt really say I think this is a true Imperial IPA but itβs a real nice beer.
