Can shared at RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Thanks to GT for this one. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a white foam head. Very tasty. Moderately crisp. Notes of melon, tropical fruits, dried pale malts. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, some bitter hay, light citrus rind. Very decent.

Bottle. Pours with a clear golden yellow hued body with a large white head. Aromas are grainy, bready, grassy, floral, dry, pepper, low sulfur, low metallic. Flavors are of a bitter, citrusy note, mild doughy, mild DMS, strongly grassy, light floral. Very bitter balance and duration. Too aggressively bitter for overall balance. Mild salinity. Dry lively.

Can thanks to GT2. Pours hazy butterscotch, small creamy white head, nice lacing. About perfect so far. Aroma is lemon, grass, honey, citrus notes, a bit of pine. Flavor is citrusy, a bit of grass, light sweet and light bitter. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. A lot of good things going on here, but it has a really harsh bitter finish that was kind of a turnoff.

Very cool packaging (bottle is wrapped in burlap held in place by bent wire). Too bad the beer doesn’t really live up to it. Pours a golden copper-yellow with good-sized, quickly-dissipating head. Aroma is grassy and the flavor is,too. In fact, the flavor almost tastes like the burlap was accidentally dropped into the fermenter. None of the big hop bouquet or citrus flavors you might expect. A disappointment.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours copper with a slight yellow/beige head. Aroma is earthy with a little caramel and some grape hint. Med body. Flavor is quite earthy, fairly eclipsing the malt. So it’s strongly flavored, hoppy, earthy, pretty bitter. Develops a bit of light stone fruit. Nice experience.
