Can from Cornelius. Hazy amber/brown body with a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of caramel, peppery biscuit and weak filter coffee. Flavour of caramel and apple. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. Milder flavour than I was expecting.

Opaque black - brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is smooth and airy with good fine carbonation. Very mild dark malts, a little cream and a whisper of dark chocolate. Smooth piney hops with a trace of orange citrus. Smooth finish. Nothing shouty about this, it’s just a fine smooth cda.

Can shared in London - many thanks to Colin. Pours clear, dark brown with a fine, creamy tan head. The nose has toasty pine, brown bread. Medium sweet flavor with sugary brown bread, grains, pine, ripe citrus, grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish, some brown bread. Lightly aged pine, hints of toasted caramel, brown sugar, dark citrus. Pretty OK.
