Tried at the 2016 Newark Beer Festival 2016. This was served as suggested with a slice of lemon. Pale yellow golden colour with a thin white head. Citrus orange and lemon aroma, dry taste, very watery. Weird, and not my thing.

Cask handpump at The Sir John Borlase Warren (Lincoln Green tap), Nottingham, Saturday 9th April 2016 with dad. Pours hazy light gold in colour with a thin white head. Light sweetness at first but then heads into what is a pretty decent blond. The bitterness is fairly easy going, nothing radical here, pleasant. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cask, half-pint at Silk Mill Cider & Ale House. Crocheted lacing from a bubbly fawn-coloured head. Jet black in body appearance. Smell of roasted malts, moments of coffee. Burnt dark malty flavours, hints of coffee and dark leaves. Nicely roasted bitterness to the finish. Pleasant (Derby 21.02.2016).

Fra fat på Silk Mill i Derby 21 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Svart. Lavt mokkafarget skum. Tynn lacing. God aroma av røstet malt & mye melkesjokolade. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken litt sjokolade med hint av lakris. Tørr avslutning. God!
