(Draught at Foersters Feine Biere, Steglitz, Berlin, 9 May 2019) Hazy yellow colour with lasting, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, grainy malt and herbal hops. Malty taste with bread, grain, hay, peaches, vanilla and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Fläschle (Dank am See!): Clear, deep golden, medium-sized and slowly collapsing white head, moderate sweet-bitter citrussy to (mild) grapefruity nose, piney traces detectable, alcohol and honeyish malt, too; moderate to robust bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; slightly lingering and a bit tart lemony/grapefruity finish with loads of balancing pale malt. A bit on the sweet side, but all in all a well balanced drop...

Bottle provided by Maarten - many thanks! Pours clear pale golden with a lasting, thick, frothy, white head. Aroma of banana peel, yellow apple, bread, yeast, wheat, spices. Taste is light fruity sweet, notes of apple & pear over bitter grass, pepper, sourish wheat & biscuity maltiness. Dryish, peppery hoppy finish, falling flat under the yeast. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Refreshing, clean, not much to it.

Light hoparoma with some milk. Full bodied. Malty flavor with milk. Upcoming hopbitterness, especially in the aftertaste, especially in the longish aftertaste. Grassy with the slightest touch of metal.

This low alcohol beer isn’t that bad. A decent hopbitterness, but also some boiled milk and plastic. Pleasant but light bitter aftertaste.
