Many thanks to Maarten for passing on this bottle! Pours clear amber with a lasting, thin, unstable, foamy, tan head. Aroma of biscuit, red apple, raisin, brioche, caramel, grass, green tea. Taste is light malty sweet, restrained fruitiness (raisin, apple), biscuity & caramelly character, subtle bitter notes of grass, pine & nuts, slightly metallic. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, lingering red fruit, grass & iron. Light to medium body (at best), slick texture, lively carbonation. Very light Amber Ale all in all.

Filtered, drunk from the bottle. Light citrus spicy flavor, maybe some new world or new strain hops along with traditional German varieties. Grainy aftertaste disturbs the hop balance; the flavor could be better blended/rounded. Decent easy drinking light beer, worlds better than what passes for such in US lagers.

Liebick bottle. Fizzy carbonation, pale, light milky yellow, big white head. Citric and grassy nose. Medium light body, sparkly/fizzy, light grainy, mellow grassy hop counterpoint. Nice refreshing drink.

Bottle. Aroma is greenish pale yellow color with. Aroma is fresh green hops, sticky oils. Taste is light sticky pale malts, lots of green hops. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. A huge surprise, this is really tasty!
