Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 30/10/10. Amber with a slight white head. Sweetish, malty aroma with a touch of fruit. Caramel flavours, with some earthiness and decent, bitter finish. Ok.

Cask at the Cleveland Arms, London. Pours mostly clear reddish-amber with a lingering, foam head. Caramel malts in the nose. Flavor is sweet and balanced, with more caramel, toasted bread, then followed by mild, earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. The finish is smooth with a pleasing caramel character. Very nice. (3.7)
Cask at the Metropolitan Bar, JDW - London. Pours deep russet, clear, with a frothy white head. The nose holds dry brown bread and subtle berries. Medium sweet with faint maple, pine, cat pee and brown bread. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Bready malts conclude with light dank citrus. Decent stuff (3.5)

Cask@GBBF2010. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is grass, some fruits, mild wheat as well as some herbs. Flavour is fruits, wood, some wheat and mild vanillaish notes. Also some slight banana in the background.

Cask@GBBF2010. Reddish amber colour, small off-white head. aroma is mild fruityness, some earthyness, mild earthcellary notes as well as some slight wooden notes. Flavour is fruits, wood, mild earth and some mild spicy and herbal notes as well.

From cask. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a small white head. Aroma is butterish and slight fruity. Sweet, fruity and slight bitter flavoured. Bitter, mild fruity and sweet malty into the finish. Ends dry and slight bitter.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity and slight citric. Fruity and mild citric. Bitter and slight fruity into a mild bitter finish. Ends dry and bitter.

Muddy brown coloured body with a very thin tan head. Aroma of very light roasted malt, some nuts and a touch of caramel - fairly light. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong nuttiness with malt at first showing a lot of very mild characteristics afterwards with only a bit of caramel and some minor fruits as well. Aftertaste fairly bland and watery with some malt and soap/cardboard afterwards. Overall, not such a great beer, and not showing enough flavours or complexity, even for this style! I sampled this pint on draught at the Rake in London (Borough), England on 13-December-2008.

Cask (Waterloo Arms, Southampton) - Golden with a white head. Hoppy and slightly soapy aroma with notes of tea and lemon. Soapy and hoppy taste with more notes of grapefruit and lemon.

Cask at the CASK Pub & Kitchen on 17th April 2010. Yellow gold with small white head. Very malty with caramel in main feature, some citrus hoppiness late on, then a rather sweet finish on a smooth but not untextured mouthfeel.
