Half pint, cask at JDWs George in Croydon. A beige bubbly head resting on top of a deep amber-brown body. Fragile lacing. Brown malty nose. Caramel and dark bread to the taste buds offset by pine and leafy hop bitterness to the finish. Drinks quite well and fits the season nicely (shared with Finn, 28.11.2015).

Fra cask på George Croydon 28 Nov 15. Delt med Rune. Mørk brun med litt skum som raskt flater ut. Beskjeden nøttearoma. Smaken tørket frukt. Bare det. Veldig tørr avslutning.

Cask @ Willow Walk (JDW), Victoria SW1. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty weak citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy floral finish.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2015, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Twickenham Pale Beauty ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, fruity, buterscotch notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt - wheat, fruity, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150811]

Cask at the Eagle, Cambridge. Mid-gold with a loose white head. Slight citrusy smell: grapefruit and blood orange. Pleasant but simple. Lovely sweet taste with a bitter kick in the finish: hints of pear drops and Lotus biscuit spread. Competent golden, bordering on the gorgeous.

Bottle. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Floral hops, biscuity malts, a touch of citrus fruit, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask at the Hope Tap, Reading. Deep copper with a thick beige head. Caramel at first with a grassy, leafy bitter finish. More hoppy than the initial sip leads you to expect. Balance of bitterness against the malt is right but not sure I like the flavour of these hops. Not bad though.
