Pale yellow color with a strong blueberry aroma. Nice flavor of lemons, blueberry, beer with a crisp finish. Different and refreshing.

Deep caramel and light brown coloured body with a thinnish tan head that finishes clean and doesn't leave anything on top after a few seconds. Aroma of very strong soured and tart cherries and especially apples with a light pear note and some subdued spices as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong apple and pear flavours dominate here with some sweetness, but more tart and soured flavours that hit nicely and bring out a spiced element at the end without much depth and hardly any malts. Aftertaste is soured, tart, very fruity and showing some cider-like elements including dryness and soft spices, but goes down clean and easily with a good apple bite and the tartness of course. Overall, a pretty nice beer that shows the soured and especially tart sides with a lot of apple notes but not much malt or complexity - pretty straight-forward and enjoyable with a good spice note at the end. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Ye Old Spirit Shop in Frederick, Maryland on 09-February-2021 for US$5,39 sampled in my hotel room here in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 02-August-2021.

It's like a stout mixed with hard root beer and the result is unsatisfying.

16 oz can. Pours a dark amber with moderate head. Aromas of banana bread (what a surprise) plus sharp earthy yeast, cloves and wheaty malts. Flavors of bubble gum, green bananas, cloves/nutmeg, and wheaty malts with something like chocolate in the finish along with and acidic bitterness. A bit odd.

Can. A- Nutmeg, straw, malty. A- Amber color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Allspice, nutmeg, straw, playdoh, malty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, dry finish. O- All this did was make me want a real oatmeal cream pie from looking at the can. Those kick ass, this did not. Figured it would be gimmicky and it hardly even tasted like an oatmeal cookie. Definite spice and a plastic taste to it. Really unimpressed. Didn't even want to finish the can but it was too expensive to waste.

Refrigerated pint can, canned May 18, 2021 poured into a glass. Cloudy golden with medium white head. Aroma is pudding, medium body, well carbonation, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is banana bread, pudding, and clove.

Can. Opaque, and sort of a dullish blonde-amber colour...to me, this doesn't look particularly appetizing. There's a lot going on in the aroma - orange, grapefruity hops, vanilla and alcohol. But it all makes sense. On the palate, it makes less sense. The alcohol is big, bigger than I like in this style. The hops are next, they're okay but on the palate they start to clash with the vanilla and orange. And the alcohol clashes with pretty much everything. What seemed refined on the nose turned out to be kind of clumsy on the palate.
