Smells of resinous hops with a touch of citrus. The flavor is hop heavy, of course, with resin, a touch of citrus, and unusual herbal character. Medium to full bodied. It's an interesting take on an IIPA.

1 pint can. Pours an orange brown with light bubbly head. Aromas of mashed fruit and bready malts. Flavors of dark berries, gooseberries, pine and bready malts.

Can. A- Dank, urine, citrus. A- Gold color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Green onions, catty, citrus, orange. P- Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Honestly not bad. Pretty citrusy with the right amount of dankness. Very little bitterness but you can tell it's still an IPA. Very drinkable.

Deep dark brown and super copper coloured body with a thick tan head that fades fairly slowly, but leaves a billowy note to the sides Aroma of rich blackberries, raspberries and blueberries with some light herbal and grassy sides to the hops, but even more of the caramelised sugars and some toffee from the malt side of the house. Medium-bodied; Deep bitterness is pungent at first from all the hops with a good and solid pungency from both the malts and hops with a more intimate and robust profile than is usually offered, especially the low-ish alcohol range. Aftertaste shows some deeper berry and pure sweetness which really isn't expected, especially for the style with a big dose of caramelised and unfinished sugars that hit the mark nicely. Overall, a very robust and super malty beer with a lot of bitterness, but somehow way more of the caramelised sugars, toffee and earthier sweetness. Overall, a very nice option for a [slightly] lower ABV IPA with a bunch of flavours, a great complexity and a robust profile throughout. Great to sample, especially super fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida on 13-February-2021 for US$4,74 , sampled in my hotel room here in Orlando, a few hours later on 13-February-2021 to escape the cold of Washington for a long weekend.

Pale amber, but the blueberry lends a touch of colour to it. Not much head. On the nose, it has a nice bit of blueberry, and maybe some fruitiness from the hops. Touch of malt chewiness, too. On the palate, a bit chewy but just a bit. Light blueberry fruitiness. Mellow alcohol taste. Basically, it's a balanced DIPA with a light fruit character but lacking in either hop or malt brightness.

I like the heat, but otherwise this pint makes for rough going. American brown ale bitterness doesn’t pair well with such abundant lactose, giving a saccharine edge to the chocolate, vanilla, and caramel notes. Finishes with lingering spice, but the whole beer comes across disjointed.

Bottle from Half Time in Poughkeepsie, NY. Pours dark brn/blk with a moderate creamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate and peanut butter. Approaching full bodied. Flavor is chocolate, toasted/burnt malt and peanut butter. And suddenly coffee. Not dry. Bitter tho. Arguably from burnt malt and coffee. Quite the taste treat. Hmmm

Not sure that chocolate peanut butter porter actually sounds like a good idea, this is one of those early entries into the pastry stouts isn't it? A forerunner if you will. Well for this most part its just a porter. There's a hint of chocolate in the nose, light roasty flavors, semi-dry, with maybe a peanut butter nuttiness in the flavor, and a slightly creaminess to the mouthfeel. Its OK, and yet fairly stupid.
