Draught at the brewery
Dark blond colour, clean, with creamy head. The malt base is crackery and bready, subtle sweetness, full bodied, good PNW hopping, piney and resinous; mst notably, the mouthfeel is very smooth.
Not the brightest one, but it’s a very enjoyable DIPA.

Draught at the brewery
Smooth Undertow IPL (new) Golden colour, clean, with creamy head. Mild aroma of hops. Good strength, with lean mouthfeel; mild malt base, with delicate biscuit tones, which is pretty much what one could do for a strong IPL, without falling in some common traps; bold hopping, mostly old school PNW goodness, hop resins.
Very good.

Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5

Draught at the brewery
Golden colour, clean, with creamy head. Modern West Coast IPA, dry but full bodied, with mild bready malt base, and bold, but balanced, resinous hopping, some piney hops.
There are brighter modern IPAs, that I would put above this one, but on its own it’s pretty good.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy blond colour with creamy head. The aroma is moderately juicy. Soft mouthfeel, some residual sweetness, but also some chalk, and light pith in the finish.
Good, but with some of the common NEIPA flaws.

6.4
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

Draught at the brewery
Pale blond colour, hazy, greenish. It has a mild grassy aroma. Dry mouthfeel, mild crackery malts, ok bitterness (which means, not underhopped like the average American Lager).
Not bad.

6.9
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy blond colour with creamy head. It’s moderately juicy, creamy, but also a bit chalky, with some astringency in the finish; compared to the Lunar Wizard side-to-side, this is a bit more citrusy.
Good, but with some of the common NEIPA flaws.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7

Draught at the brewery
Hazy amber colour, with creamy head. The body is there, the sweetness is minimal, so at least it’s not cloying, it’s a bit more spicy than other beers from the brewery, and the hop resins seem to be underscored by that, but overall it’s not a favourite.
Good on its own.

6.5
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7

Draught at the brewery
Hazy to cloudy blond colour with creamy head. It’s a it spicier than the other NEIPAs, but it comes with similar flaws (chalk, astringency, pith, although mild), and the hop is moderately juicy, but not fully expressive.
Ok beer, for a style that the world thought was defunct.

Enjoyed on draft at Diamond Knot, MLT. Awesome to be enjoying this classic NW brew at the source, and finally rating it! Copper, very pour, clean. Off white foam. Caramel and bready malt nose. Flavor has a bit of a bite, which I enjoy. Bitter front, bready malt flavor, with a somewhat dry, and easy finish. Drinks under its strength. Smooth and solid warmer. Very nice.

Draft pour enjoyed at Diamond Knot, MLT. Tried side by side with their west coast IPA in another battle of the coasts. Really solid side by side here. Moderate haze, juicy golden appearance. Lots of sticky lacing and foam head. Tropical constant with this hazy. In no way sweet. Peel bitterness, stone fruit juice, gentle grain finish. Equal parts bitter, amd juicy. Smooth, slick hazy. Very nice.
