Cask at GBBF 2009. Black pour with a slight head. Aroma of dark fruit and richness. Taste of dark fruit, coffee, hint of chocolate, incredibly complex, sweet and rich. Jolly good stout.

Cask@GBBF. Opaque black color, not much head. Toasted aroma, some coffee, also milk chocolaty notes. Full-bodied. Lots of vanilla, milk chocolate but also a bit tart, alcoholic notes. Long vanilla aftertaste. Sticky mouthfeel. A bit similar to DFH WWS, but not so complex and strong.

Cask at GBBF 05-08-09 Pours black with no head, there may have been a head when Craig (thanks for saving me this mate) originally got it but it had long since dissappeared. Distinct oakiness and vanilla on the nose, in fact tha barrel ageing is quite noticeable. Feels substantial in the mouth but not too boozy, some bitterness. Oil slicks coat the glass, liqourice and dark sugars are starting to show. Very good stuff. A7 A4 F8 P4 Ov15 3.8
