Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: golden yellow color with a half a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: vanilla, toffee, sweet wood, mild earthy tones, honey, dark fruits - but seemingly leaning more towards raisins; some white grapes and a touch of bananas
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fair sweet tone with a mild woody dry sweetness underneath; finishes leaning into the raisins, vanilla, toffee and sweet wood
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper; some smoothness but also a touch of dryness
Overall: this is one of those blonde barleywines, right? It kinda threw me for a loop when I started pouring as I didn't even know it was a blonde barleywine but hey as far as I know it works and I would return to this.

Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine bitter to bittersweet quality: finishes semi-peachy/apricot-like with a nice grapefruity sweet tone
Texture: light to medium bodied, slight sessionability about it; good smoothness with a slight dry tone
Overall: pretty good NEIPA I could return to.

Appearance: copper/auburn color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: green apples & red apple flesh and skin-like bittersweetness, sly floral hop and light peachy hop tones in there too; some pine; light malts
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fair bitter to bittersweet sort of quality; finishes leaning into some peachy to appley and piney character
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; light smoothness with a light hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: interesting take on an IPA but I liked it and would return to this if I could.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: glossy copper/auburn color with a quarter finger's worth of white foamy head which slid off at a nice pace to leave some super subtle lace
Aroma: Bretty/sour tones rubbing with some lemon to orangey notes; subtle honey under that with some sweet wood with a light tart note to it; then some light malts further down in there
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine tart to sweet to sour quality; finishes leading with a combination of tart and sweet character
Texture: medium bodied with a good sipping quality about it; slight smoothness but also noticeable but nothing heavy tones of tart assertiveness
Overall: nicely done AWA I believe I would return to.

Appearance: dark pale yellow to orange color with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: peachy/apricot/mango and passion fruity hop notes with a light sweet wheaty scent and subtle rye spicy tones and a little bit of melon whiffs
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fair sweet and spicy tone to a semi-bittersweet to sweet character; finishes the same way
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe closer to the medium side; somewhat sessionable; good amount of smoothness; light dry tones
Overall: pretty nicely done NEIPA I believe I could come back to.

Bottle to tulip. Consumed 01/08/2024.
Appearance: dark brown in color with an eggshell white foamy head which dissipated fairly quick and barely left any lace
Aroma: dark fruits, bread, sweet wood, dark cherries with tart and sweet character; very low amount of honey, slight herbal to earthy notes
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine tart to sweet and subtle sour far down in there; finishes fairly dry with some dark cherries, bread and more with a raisin-like sweetness
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; light amount of smoothness with some dryness
Overall: part of me wonders if this was put into the AWA category because there was no other fit on Brewver, did I get that correct? If so, yeah, I guess I would agree with that because I can't think of any other category this would fit so with that in mind, yes, this was a nice beer and worthy of coming back to.

Appearance: amber to copper with slight orangey hues along the sides and a finger's worth of white foamy head which trailed off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dried/dead lavender petals, vinous, biscuity and herbal to earthy tones
Flavor: takes the prior noted aromas to blend somewhat bitter with an underscore of floral to herbal sweetness; finishes semi-dry with a floral and herbal tone
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; medium to low amount of smoothness but nothing there to really stop this beer from being smooth either.
Overall: interesting beer, was this supposed to be a Scottish Gruit? Hmmm, I don't know enough.

Pours dark, clear amber into a willi.Tan micro head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Caramel aromas. Dry with sweet caramel and earthy brown bread upfront turning light summer fruit before the earthy caramel finish.

Aroma of malts, caramel, sweet fruits, raisins, hops. Flavour is sweet malty caramel and fruity, leading to a moderate bitter dry finish. Very much on the sweet malty side of DIPA.
