Bottle picked up at Beers of Europe, consumed at Isobel’s, Saturday 11th October 2014 Pours a gloomy looking mid murky brown. Thick and a little syrupy in mouth. Really surprised with this as it is hugely bitter, the bitterness having a hard and quite harsh edge which contrasts quite sharply with the heavy sweetness. Likeable beer but glad I was able to share with dad and Baz. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov14 3.3

Nicely done mid, everything about this is very subdued, from aroma to flavor to finish. Still there’s a enough of everything in a mild way, light nutty aroma, mild dark roast grain flavor, teeny hint of bitterness at the finish. For people who may not like craft beers, this could be a gateway beer.

Pour is a hazy orange with a huge white head. Aroma is a nice pungent hop. Flavor is a nice piney hop resin with almost no malt presence. A west coast hop bomb here. Loads of piney hop flavor with almost no bitterness. A bit thin but this is all about the hops.

Draft pour. Pours a light orange with a hoppy, boozy aroma. A lot of orange and hop flavors. Finishes really bitter. Strong. Not my go to IPA but at the same time not bad.
