Description
Situated just off the West coast of Scotland the Isle of Arran is arguably one of the most beautiful and dramatic islands in Europe. The splendour and diversity of the landscape has led it to be considered by many as Scotland in miniature. Nestled between the islands largest mountain, Goatfell, and the imposing Brodick Castle lies Arran Brewery which has been brewing award winning craft beer for over two decades.
Opened in late March 2000. The 20BBL plant originated at the Tipsy Toad Townhouse.

Deep amber body with a fine tan head. Ok lacing. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium 8+) body and a soft carbonation level. A bit sweet and oily texture. Bready, dried fruits, toffee, wood and some whisky in the flavor. Quite decent and tasty.

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - a muesli thing going on. Barley flakes with dried fruits. Taste - more of that muesli jazz. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a dry crunchy finish. Overall - decent bitter.

Cask @ Edward Wylie. Clear golden coloured with a white head. Nose is light biscuit, caramel, light fruity. Flavour is caramel malts, biscuit, some fruits. Really nothing to do with an ipa and poorly done anyway.
