On top of Sea to Sky gondola after hike with Ilya. A pint. Pours a hazy golden with a weak white head. Aroma is malty with piney hops notes. Taste is malty with tropical fruits hops. Same aftertaste. Not bad.

On tap at VCBW Festival 2017, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light raspberries, not much else. Flavour is similar, with light raspberries, dry biscuity malt and a touch of bitterness. Restrained, mild and pleasant, but extremely boring.

Bottle from Kitsilano Liquor Store
Cloudy golden color, small color. Grainy malts, some vegetable, light residual sweetness, strong alcohol footprint, some fusels, sweat, and burning final.
The result of some brewer who can’t manage high octane fermentation. Not good.

Draught at Devil’s Elbow, Vancouver; 12oz
Cloudy golden color with generous creamy head. Nice hoppy aroma, a bit dank; I suspect some butter too. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel, a bit more malt than one would expect in a modern IPA, robust bitterness, with resiny hops and a mild dank feeling; unfortunately, there is some butter, and some chicory bitterness in the final.
Imprecise.

Red amber color, dark, with small head. Mild aroma, spicy and earthy. Good mouthfeel, with light residual sweetness, medium malt and caramel base, a bit grainy, mild fruity esters (berries) and mild earthy character.
A good exercise of balance and grace.

Hazy blond color, creamy head. It has the lightest aroma of raspberry. Dry mouthfeel, but with some bready and crackery malts, correct bitterness, a raspberry vibe, and some tannins.
Clean and professionally brewed.

On tap at White Spot, Squamish. Nose is light toffee, grass and raspberry. Hazy medium amber under a small short lived white head. Light sweet with a similar grassy bitterness and a touch of raspberry tartness. Mouth is slightly thin with average carbonation and a short crisp finish. Easy drinking but not out of the ordinary. 6/3+/6 /3/12
