440ml can from The Offy, Whitstable. Pours amber, off-white head. Pleasant stodgy brown cake whiff about it, maltier than your common or garden ESB. Takes a while for the head to settle but otherwise very pleasant

Pale gold with a frothy white head and a soft fruit hop aroma. Light and smooth, soft fleshy fruit on top of light biscuit malt, some floral notes, a hint of citrus bitterness and maybe that touch of spice ahead of a dry finish.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 17th October 2025. Sepia to almost impenetrably black with shallow tan foam affording spot lacing. Rich and intense roastiness in aroma. Grassy hop notes, roasty malts, coffees and dark chocolates in-mouth, with the suggestion of smoke. A lasting roasty finish. Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Splendid.
