Hand pulled half pint at the White Hart, Shifnal on 13th March 2026. The only beer at their little festival I didn't like. I found this harsh and the hop content too dry and bitter for my palate. Didn't like the aroma either. Don't like hitting the small guys/independent brewers, but this wasn't for me at all.

Very slightly misty gold with a small frothy white head. It’s a light malt and fruit hop melange. No massive aroma, light bodied with a twist of sweet citrus, some cereal malt and a dry bitter finish.

Cask at Alexandra, Derby. Pours almost black with a small foamy tan head. The aroma is mainly roasted malts with just a hint of coffee. In the mouth it is quite sweet initially but some underlying bitterness comes through pretty quickly. Roasted malts are strong again plus chocolate and hints of apricot, liquorice and humbug coming later. Finish is slightly dry. This is quite nice

Cask at Vinny & Ted's, Beaconsfield. Not in the best condition unfortunately. Pale amber with a barely-there white head. Light generic fruitiness, a bit of sulphur, some caramel and some white bread. A so-so pale, inoffensive and forgettable.
