Black with no head tho a wispy one forms a minute or so after pouring. Dark chocolates, caramel, vanilla, coffee, dark fruits, oak, whisky, rum, toast. Full, slick body. Big and bold. Skews sweet without being cloying. More lively carbonation would open this up some.

Jet black with a mid-size beige head. Biiiig booze, whiskey, peat notes, loads of molasses, caramel, chocolate, earth, oak. Full, thick and slick body. I get just a hint of that sherry sweetness but the Islay dominates. It’s a bruiser.

440ml can. Jet black colour, initially just some macropore, dark brown bubbles on top, later forms a small, dense, creamy, slowly diminishing, moderately lacing head of identical colour. BA supported, intense and condensed, chocolately and roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, couverture, chocolate sauce, amburana (with aspects of cherry, cinnamon, Black Forest gateau), some smoke, wood, caramel, rum, molasses. Viscous, almost mushy texture, super smooth and soft, silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, creamy carbonation.
Very nice composition, rich, harmonious, balanced and surprisingly homogeneous, excellent mouthfeel as well. Not exactly "drinkable" but uncomplicated, more-ish, addictive - great!
