Produzione e vendita birra artigianale.

Slightly aged sample Gushing to towering off-white head; clear darker golden beer. Finely perfumed, but demure nose (the big head no doubt sealing). Bitter-ish, dry flavour, some (other) grain in the finish. Some spiciness, but I’m not getting the salt. I do get the bittering hops, however. Quite slick, medium bodied. Nice beer, quite OK, but it isn’t anything like, f.i., the Ritterguts. Grazie, D. & M.!

Corpo esile, consistenza vellutata, carbonazione soft. Una delle migliori porter mai assaggiate.

Bottle in Rome, purchased from Domus Birrae. Hazy deep brown beer. Short lived cream coloured head. Softish palate, semi dry. Lacto cream, subtle dark chocolate. Dry finish. An okay sweet malty beer but as with too many other Italian beers I’ve had recently - a real lack of hops.

Bottle in Rome from Domus Birrae. Opaque black beer, decent tan head. It’s all here for a dark beer! A little smoke, mildly roasted malt. Some licorice and a trace of lacto. Dry finish with espresso coffee. Unapologetic in it’s robust darkness!

Hazy amber. Not much head. The aroma has some interesting floral hops. Dry, herbal, spicy taste. Has a yeasty dry character. Decent.

Bottled. Copper colour, mediumsized beige head that leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity, mildly alcoholic along with some sweet malts, mild toffee as well as some mild herbal notes. Flavour is being fruity and floral hops along with some strong maltyness. Also some caramel, toffee, alcohol, zest as well as some spices are in there. Pleasant balance and very enjoyable beer.
